5 Day Itinerary in Hong Kong

March 10, 2012

We are planning a four/five day trip to Hong kong. I am traveling with friends - 25. Can you please help us plan this. My main queston is regarding the disneyland. How much time would it take to cover the Disney land. Is staying in the Disney land overnight required in order to cover all the trips? Is there any thing else on the island other than disney land?

Things to See

Hi there!

Welcome to Hong Kong! A cultural and industrial hub, This former British colony boasts of having a unique blend of ancient Chinese and modern culture. There are a number of world class attractions which showcase the development of this city from a small Chinese fishing town to the cosmopolitan Mega-polis it is today. All in all a visit to the city will ensure a fantastic and memorable vacation.

1. Day 1 & 2- Disneyland

Undoubtedly the foremost attraction for every age group  in Hong Kong will be the Disneyland. Give yourself a treat of their life by heading to this incredible, theme park where you can meet your favourite Disney characters and take a trip through the best rollercoasters and rides in the world.  Rated as an equal to its counterparts in Paris and Florida, this theme park offers the best there is for kids in this cosmopolitan city. Once here do not forgot to take your kids to the new opened “Toy Story Land”.

Due to its sheer size and number of rides, I would highly recommend spending two days here. The park is basically divided into four main sections which are Fantasyland , Tomorrowland , Adventure Land and Main Street USA. The rides here are numerous and you will need time to really enjoy them. There are two fine hotels here which can be perfect accommodation options. While Disney's flagship Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is more highly rated you can also choose the popular  Hollywood Hotel, which too provides excellent services.

One of the foremost attraction of Hong Kong is The Victoria Peak. A review:

It's a highlight of Hong Kong , and absolutely you must go there . Just catch the tram for a small price value and get to the top , the uphill with the tram scare you a little bit but as I learn it's very safe . The panoramic view from the hill is amazing and unique . Many coffee shops and restaurants around the hill just for a relax . Don't forget to go at the higher view point of the hill , some lazies don't do it :) Many creatures around the hill , as eagles and other beautiful birds . As always say "one picture thousand of words" :)

A review:

Ocean Park is really one big amazing theme park! It's like a zoo, botanical garden, butterly farm, underwater world, and amusement park all in one. Extreme rides are really breathtaking! Aside from the cable car over the South China Sea, it's only in this place that I've seen the longest and highest escalators! You'd have to use them in order to reach the Pacific Pier at the top of a mountain
