The hotel is located right on gran Via, where everything is in walking distance. My colleague and I shared a room, although a bit small, it was clean, had two hair dryers, air conditioning was great and worked well. The hotel has a beautiful outside terrace and indoor lounging area on the 9 th floor that serves free coffee after 3:30. You also have a printer at your disposal if you need it. Wifi is free and the signal was strong. I would definitely come back with the family.

Talk about service. Even before we checked in, we were allowed to keep our large suitcases in storage as we travelled on to Granada for two nights. Coming from great lodging in Granada, it was great to stay in an equally comfortable apartment suite in Madrid. Room 35 had ample space for my husband, myself and our teenage son to move around. The bathroom/toilet was outside the bedroom which my husband and I occupied. It was easily accessed by our son who stayed in the sofa-bed. The room faced the Royal Palace and was basked in morning sunlight. This hotel is a comfortable walk from the tourist area and two metro stations - Principe Pio and Opera. If you are coming from the airport or train station and taking the metro, the walk from Principe Pio might be difficult if you are maneuvering 20 kilos of luggage on an incline.

This hotel is freekin cool! We on the 7th floor, which is the White Floor... You have to pay a bit extra to stay in that floor for some reason - not sure why... but it was really cool. We didn't pay, we got upgraded because the hotel was full. If you don't know much about this hotel I suggest you check out their website to see all the different rooms you can choose from. OK, now here's the important stuff: The hotel is a distance from the city center, I'd say about 20 minutes on the Metro. There is a metro stop literally a 2 minute walk from the front door, so as long as you don't mind being right in the center of things, its no biggie. That was the biggest downside, but if this hotel was right in the city center the price would be double. We used the pool and the steam room...very nice! The surrounding area is nice and there are several restaurants to choose from! Very fun!

Spent a week on vacation. Price was great. Room was typical IBIS so it was small but clean. Service from everyone was very friendly. Location was a residential neighborhood but was very convenient to the main city - walk 15 minutes, rental bikes (at the end of the block) made the trip over the bridge about 5 minutes. Parking was right under the hotel with elevator access right to reception so I am not sure what the previous complaints about parking were all about? Grocery store next door (open at 8:30) made for inexpensive breakfasts in the room. We would definitely stay again next time we head to Bordeaux.

If you are travelling to Bordeaux by train, this is a small hotel you should consider. It is only a two mintue walk from Gare St. Jean yet it is very quiet and private. The staff are efficient and helpful, and the hotel seems very well managed. The upper room where we stayed was spacious with a good view out over the city, though the stairs going up were a bit steep. The front desk offered to carry our bags, however. Breakfast was generous and well laid out, and the experience overall was very positive. The excellent Bordeaux tram service runs from just outside the station if you don't want to bother with a car.

My husband and I were stunned when we first entered the room. It's huge, very clean and cozy. I love the bed and the lightings. The location is very close to Termini Metro Station. Love the bathroom!! I love the glittery floor. Breakfast is not bad too, although not much variants were offered, but I guess it is still acceptable. Staffs are pretty friendly and helpful. Few things that are lacked from this hotel is that the TV does not have any English channels, everything is in Italian. Also, no wi-Fi available, so we couldn't connect our iPad or any smartphones to internet connection. However.. overall, it's almost perfect!!

My wife and I loved this small hotel located on the first floor of a building just accross the Borghese park where it is great to be during the heat wave we had during the 4 days we stayed in Rome. The large size room we had was immaculate with a very nice bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic. We will not even complain about the size of that breakfast room as it was never overcrowded. The management of this family run hotel is really great and they really do the maximum for you to have a great time giving you all the possible information you need when coming to Rome as a tourist : nearby attractions, best restaurants in the area, reservations of museums, public transport information. I like to walk, and this hotel's location makes it easy to get to the Louvre, the Tour Eiffel, and everything in between. It is a very small property whose only intended use is to be a place to sleep. On that basis it is reasonably priced. As so many others have noted, it is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It also conforms to my idea of what a Parisian hotel, and neighbourhood, should be, which makes it that much more satisfying. Parking is impossible. If you have a rental car, turn it in at the end of each day or you'll go nuts looking for parking. There's a great Italian restaurant a few doors down the street - Giallo Oro. I was wondering if I choose hotel good enough for 10y anniversary but it is perfect place. Hotel is very clean and perfectly located - near the metro stations. To catch each monument you need max 30 minutes. Had single poet's room for 5 nights, room 61. Top floor, facing inner courtyard. Very clean, nice decor. Quiet. About 150 sq ft - had just come from rivercruise and that was size of my cabin. Luggage rack, no dresser, no closet so lived out of suitcase. Not a problem. Sink had generous borders for toiletries, there was also a built in shelf behind commode. Concierge Arnaud had made my requested dinner reservations before I arrived. Also reconfirmed some tours I'd booked. Especially nice, if a driver was late arriving, Arnaud was on the phone checking! I didn't do their breakfast. Cafe Constant on the corner - had an okay lunch. Les Cocottes was expensive and very disappointing. FL Restaurant right next door - my favorite meal while in Paris. Make a reservation, it's quite small.
