Location was good, staff were helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was manic but there was a coach load of tourists in but food was replenished and looked good but as I only had toast was not able to judge quality. Would stay there again when business takes me to Plymouth

The Hotel is in a brilliant spot, handy for the Theatres & the Hoe & Shopping. A lovely Oldy Worldy hotel, a step back in time. Beautiful surroundings, full of atmosphere, quiet & peaceful.Our room was beautifully decorated with lovely wallpaper & blinds & comfy beds. The Bathroom was very clean & nicely decorated. Beautifully cooked & presented breakfast in the stunning Dining Room. We enjoyed our stay, it gave us everything we wanted. The staff were helpful & polite.We left feeling rested & relaxed. stayed at the duke of cornwall from friday 12th august to sun 14th , from the time we arrived till leaving the staff were so helpfull , nothing too much trouble , our room was lovely with a small lounge area with tea and coffee facility also tv , bed very comfortable , our breakfast was very tasty good selection...
