Nairobi Butterfly Centre Kenya is located in Karen Nairobi on the Dagoretti Road 2.5 km from the Karen Roundabout. Look for the big white butterfly sign! Nairobi Butterfly Centre opens 9am to 5pm daily and is home for more than 1000 butterfly species. At butterfly Africa Nairobi, you will see the largest and smallest butterflies in Kenya. The largest butterfly has a wingspan of 15 to 17 centimeters. The butterfly sanctuary is housed in an expansive green house of tropical trees offering a rare insight into the complex world of butterflies. There are guided tours in the sanctuary and explanation about environment, appearance and behavior of the butterflies.
