Review by a guest:

Went with a group of friends while visiting Plymouth and was very surprised by the size of the place when inside. Two massive tanks depicting life in the atlantic and pacific ocean. Had discount tickets from the Premier Inn Sutton Harbour where we were staying which was a very good deal. Lots of different fish and things to do. Would reccomend this if you have children and are looking for something to do on the weekends or if you are visiting plymouth in the holidays

Review by another guest:

Love it - we go regularly when visiting family in Devon. Big tanks are great, esp the sand tigers, staff are generally knowledgable. Not much that is hands on - but lovely for staring. Get there as early as you can to have the place to yourself - & to get your money's worth (it ain't cheap)

The Clay Art is another kids-friendly attraction, which your kids would love to visit. It is the Paint Your Own Pottery Studio, lcoated at Barbican. It's a fun place, where your kids can go and show their creative talents. The guests are allowed to design paintings on blank ceramics. The ceramics are then glazed by the Studio and are returned back to the guests on request.

Review by a guest:

An odd shop. Not classy or practical ceramics but a simple carefully selected series of everyday blank invited clay items which mostly children are allowed to decorate in their own way, which are then glazed and fired by the shop, producing it is hoped an acceptable or impressive piece to be treasured for ever.
