1. Pensacola Beach

Located on Santa Rosa Island, one of the longest barrier islands in the world, Pensacola Beach  with its natural beaches, local hang-outs, fishing and historic Fort Pickens offers the charm of Old Florida. The beautiful white sand, emerald green waters and summer blue sky have earned Pensacola Beach a place among the nation’s top 10 beaches by TripAdvisor.

The Gulf Islands National Seashore the longest tract of protected seashore in the United States. And is great for biking, snorkeling or kayaking. fishing, surfing, scuba diving, collecting seashells or just taking it easy.  If you're tired of the beach, you can always indulge yourself with a luxurious spa treatment, head to the golf course or hit the various shops and boutiques. In summer, visitors are entertained with free concerts four nights a week.

Walk on the Beach (Source: Olaf)

Here's a review :

Hands down, majestic. When you go today, it appears as if there was no oil spill, no remnants of it, etc. If you have small children and don't want to fight with waves, etc, I highly recommend going to 'Baby Beach' or 'Quietwater Sound'. It is sound side, so you're not going to have the teal water, but the sand is still white, there's covered shelters and picnic areas everywhere, and the parking is SUPER close. When we're tired of dragging all our beach gear, walking up and over sand dunes, etc...we go HERE for a break from it all...and the kids get to play in the water, which is very shallow, with no waves!

One of the most popular of Michigan’s state parks is Warren Dunes State Park. Spreading over 1,952-acre, Michigan state park is located along the eastern shore of Lake Michigan in Berrien County. The park's large sand dunes and lakeshore are quite popular and attract around a million visitors every year. Among the park's dunes are Mt. Fuller, Pikes Peak, and Mt. What a BEAUTIFUL place!!! Wonderful place to take your family and friends there! The dune there is HUGE! There's also a secret passage to this clay pit. Definitely a good time. Spend a whole day there from beginning to end. I suggest bringing a grill to this location and stay til the sunset. It it truly beautiful. I cannot wait to go again!
