Europe has some really beautiful and spectacular places to visit which are around 5hr-6hr flight distance from London. Keeping your requirements in mind, I am suggesting some great destinations for you to check out. Here are my recommendations.

Belgium is a low lying county in the Europe, located on the North Sea coast in the Benelux. Belgium shares its borders with France, Netherlands, Luxemberg and Germany. This is again a beautiful country and has many popular attractions, heritage buildings, festivals, picturesque landscapes, cuisines, vibrant nightlife etc.

Spain is one of the most popular tourist spots in Europe along with Italy, France, Rome, Greece etc. The distance between Bristol and Madrid is not more than 5hrs and also a ideal place for you to have a great holiday.

Madrid: It is one of the largest and most influential cities in the world. A trip to this Spanish capital promises a whole new experience as this city with its grand aura and rich culture will simply leave you spellbound by its charm. Popular places to visit here include Museo Del Prado or the Spanish Arts museum, the magnificent Royal Palace of Madrid and Puerta Del Sol plaza which is the famous square of the city.

Barcelona: It is the second largest city of Spain and home to one of the best football club in the world, Barcelona is sure to be a top tourist destination. A feast for the senses, Catalonia's capital has a distinctly Mediterranean feel coupled with a diverse range of attractions which will surely make you feel like coming back here again and again. Here you can check out places like Majestic Sagrada Famallia which is an 18th century castle like church and La Rambla street which connects the Plaça de Catalunya in the centre with the Christopher Columbus monument.

Valencia: Capital of the old Kingdom of Valencia, this city is more popularly known as the birthplace of the Paella. With its streets and markets which are characteristic of its rich culture, Valencia is a great visit on any given day. Popular places to check out are City of Arts and Science, the famous Central Market or Mercado Central which is one fo the oldest markets in Europe etc.

Seville: You cannot say you have been to Spain if you haven’t visited the Andaulcian capital Sevilla. The largest city of southern Spain is a delightful visit on any given day and has deeply rooted history which is showcased in its many monuments and museums. Popular among all the attractions here are the Cathedral of Seville is arguably the largest church in the world and one of the most famous of Spain, Alcázar of Seville which is a 15th century palace and once a Moorish fort and Calle Sierpes which house the best brands along with traditional Spanish shops.
