Italy - European Holiday With Family  >  I need to plan a 20 day...

Kirti's answer about things to do in France, Spain, Italy, Barcelona, Versailles, Paris, Switzerland, Venice, Italy and Rome

Wow!! A 20 day holiday in Europe sounds like a whole lot of fun!! And you have come to the right place because I am going to ensure that you guys have a packed yet enjoyable holiday in Europe!

What I am going to do is break it down by location in terms of the cities you have specified and give maybe 2-3 recommendations for that remote place you wanted to visit. In each destination as well, I won't go into too much detail about things to see, instead suggesting some options and giving you recommendations from well known websites. Hope that sounds ok.

So let's begin our virtual journey through Europe.

Overview

So starting off your fabulous holiday in Italy - I will be focusing on Rome and Venice here and showcasing the small town in Italy, Positano right at the end.

Weather Rome

Here is Tripadvisor giving some friendly advice:

Good months to visit are May and October. In early May, the azaleas are placed along the Spanish Steps, the temperatures are warm but bearable, outdoor dining is a pleasure, and for those who enjoy the beach, Fregene and Ostia are short rides away on public transportation. That said, Rome in March will sometimes reward you with warm, sunny days and nights that occasionally demand a light sweater or jacket.
