Resting in the heart of Krishna Rajendra City Market is the elegant Palace of Tipu Sultan, notable for its teak pillars and ornamental frescoes. Though not as beautiful as the Mysore palace, this offbeat destination is worth a visit. After a walk in the palace, enjoy the freshness of the lush and natural beauty around.

Here is a visitor review:
Liked the architecture of mughalai times!!!! but being a south indian im used to seeing huge architecture.... the simple yet majestic palace reflects the greatness of Tipu Sultan. A ruler who appeared to have been more close to the earth and his people rather than being trapped by profane materialistic luxuries that most rulers indulged in. It is a big miss for those people especially those from outside of India to expect a lot out of this heritage site...it is pretty small and not much to describe about architectural beautiful facade.

Bugle Rock is a huge rock formation that can be seen at Basavangudi. It is supposed to be about 300o million years old and also has a watchtower which was built on it by Kempe Gowda II, and gives you a beautiful panorama of the city. There is a small park in the area which has waterfalls and fountains, in addition to two other Temples-Bull Temple and Dodda Ganesh Temple.
In Dodda Ganesh Temple rests an enormous idol of Lord Ganesha and the Bull Temple is a 16th century Dravidian style temple, containing a huge granite monolith of Nandi.

The Iskcon temple in Bangalore is one of the most spectacular structures in the city.It is treated as a landmark. Hugely visited by the locals as well as travelers for devotion and to witness the excellent architectural work. The artificially illuminated water falls inside the temple add to its brilliance. There are four "Gopurams" which are internally connected and makes into a huge hall called "Hari naam Kirtan". The paintings in the ceiling of the hall is outstanding. The temple is a perfect mix of tradition and modernity.
