Shaunna's answer about accommodation in B6 6N, Bugallon, Murcia and Brugge

Hallo!

Many of us know about Brugge from Colin Farrell's 'In Bruges', but despite all the shooting in the movie, Brugge is the loveliest place and, with all the history it is embedded in, there will be much to explore in Brugge in four days. What you need though is a cozy and safe room to come back to and I've done my best to find the same for you. Here, have a picture of the city:

Accommodation in Brugge

Most of the hostels which provide six bedroom dorms are located in the old city itself and are at walking distances from its winding lanes which provide you with ample opportunities for happy walks and cycle rides!

Here is a look at the places that have rooms available on the days when you will be in this beautiful town:

Check Rates

This hostel, well located in the centre of the old city, is recommended by many and is very highly rated by many sites. In case you want to cancel your bookings, you would have to make sure you cancel one day before or else you might have to pay for the first night as well. This hostel provides you with breakfast, linen, free storage and internet as well as parking and bicycle hire facilities.

The hostel also has a guest kitchen, a cafe and a bar as well as a TV and a BBQ area where one can just sit and relax.

Here is what Hostelworld has to say about Snuffel:

Snuffel Backpacker Hostel' is a character budget hostel, focusing on friendliness, hospitality and great atmosphere, centrally located in the old part of town.

Here's a review from a guest who stayed there this September

Good location a short walk from the center, and a very good bar downstairs. Layout and construction can make it a bit loud at nights. Plenty of lockers, with something very rare: outlets inside, to charge devices securely. Good cereal & toast breakfast included.

2. St Christopher's Bauhaus Hostel (Recommended)

This is another well recommended hostel by many. The place has an in house cyber cafe, free WiFi in the reception, the bar and some rooms, free breakfast and a bike rental facility. There is no problem of lockouts or a curfew. Lockers are provided for and free maps are available at the reception. On site self-laundry services, insured security lockers, and security cameras in the passage way and entrance are a few other benefits this place has to offer.

This is what hostels.com has to say about St. Christopher's:

Medieval Bruges, now entirely a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will captivate those with a romantic soul as you float on down the canals that separate the city, surrounded by majestic coloured lights; you will marvel at the charm of the old buildings that dating back to middle ages. And when you're in Bruges Old Center there's no better place to receive the famous Flemish hospitality than St. Christopher's at the Bauhaus. The recently renovated complex of six typical Brugean step gable houses will draw you into the magic of Bruges and make it hard for you to let go.

A young couple had this to say about the hostel on hostelworld.com:

Great hostel! Nice and clean rooms, excellent breakfast, lots of facilities. Only (small) disadvantage: 10 mins walking out of the city centre.

Hi Europa has a hostel in Brugge which is a mere 15 minute walk away from the railway station. The reception is only open till 11 pm at night, however guests have 24 hours access to the hostel. A 15 minute walk away from the train station, the hostel provides its guests with free sheets and a free buffet styled breakfast. The hostel has a living room, a TV room, gardens, a bar and a free WiFi hotspot. Luggage and parking facilities are also freely available. However, many reviewers felt that the hostel staff were not very helpful.

This is what a guest reviewer had to say about the hostel:

Really nice if you're looking to relax and have a decent wash and breakfast. Harder to find than other hostels in Bruges as its out of the city centre. More of a catered place than other hostels so there's nowhere to cook your own food, but breakfast is included at least.
