It's extremely basic, but does exactly what you need it to.
 The bathroom was always extremely clean and tidy. Although I'm not a fan of the 'shared bathroom', it turned out to be fine...

I found this hotel while on a business trip to NYC. The Airway advertised itself by the baggage area at LaGuardia Airport. I called to make a reservation and the hotel sent a van to pick me up immediately. The ride back to the hotel only took 5 minutes. The hotel also had the latest movies on their in-house movie channel. I loved this place. The rates are cheap for this city! I will be back.

Howard Johnson's JFK is just 2 miles from JFK and about 14 miles from Manhattan. There is a subway nearby. It has been recently renovated therefore rooms are in good condition. Airport transportation and breakfast is complimentary.

This is a great Hotel ... The staff is very helpful, and the manager Danny is great. My room was very cozy and clean. I slept like a baby every night !!! It's close to shopping, just hop on the bus and off you go. Burger King right across from it. I felt at home.

The hotel is another great product of the Affinia group of hotels. Affinia Manhattan is located at the center of all the action taking place in the city and has been recommended by 90% of its guests. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and bar called Niles which has quite a crowd during a game at the MSG. Apart from this, the hotel as all the facilities that the Affinia group provides like the Dream Pillow Menu, complimentary Experience Kits and SPAffinia, an in-room spa treatment facility.

A busy hotel in the midtown: perfect location with easy access to the theaters, shopping, restaurants, etc. The hotel lobby reminds of the past grandeur although the rooms are pretty basic, on the level of Holiday Inn. However, our suite was very spacious by Manhattan standards (a bedroom with two full beds plus a living room with a pull-our sofa), kitchen was well equipped, and there were two full bathrooms. Decor is a bit dated but the rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Pillow menu was a nice touch and having a toy in the room was lovely as well. We did not use any hotel amenities due to the tight schedule, though. I will definitely consider this hotel for a longer stay as one cannot expect better rates in Manhattan.

The Quality Inn Meadowlands is located very near to Newark Int'l Airport and also just 4 miles from downtown New York. You will get to see Famous Harold's NY Deli Restaurant and Lounge just on the premise of the hotel. The exact location of the hotel is just opposite to Giant Stadium at Meadowlands Sports Complex and Continental Arena. Facilities like fitness center,  swimming pool access are available in this hotel. Continental breakfast is also provided for the guests.

i am a frequent traveler to ny and rarely stay outside of the city, but $109/nt is hard to pass up. So I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. The room was massive, and attached to a harold's deli which has huge sandwiches. The bus to ny picks up across the street and in 15 min drops off at port authority. Coming back is the same, and leaves off across a moderately busy street. Not to mention its only $11 round trip per person. I can't wait to stay again and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
