Things to See in Huahine

Loacetd in French Polynesia, Huahine Islands is a paradise to visit. Huahine is made up of two main islands surrounded by a fringing coral reef - Huahine Nui (Big Huahine) lies in the north, and Huahine Iti (Little Huahine) in the south. So go there and bask in the sunny mornings and party in the nights.

We have just returned from a trip to French Polynesia where we decided to try booking a day snorkel trip on the island of Huahine. We found a couple with a sail boat (the Eden Martin) that were willing to do a day trip for us. (They also do trips of several days in length). We had a wonderful time

3. La Petite Ferme

La Petite Ferme is on the main road between Fare and the airport. You can take a two-hour horse ride along the beach. Through coconut plantations and around the shores of Lake Fauna Nui is truly enchanting. For a package of 133 USD, you’ll visit a vanilla plantation, and stop for a picnic lunch and snorkelling.

Here is a review -

My wife and I spent a morning with Anne and Eric at their horse farm. We rode the horses at our own pace and went along the ocean, by the airport and finally across a lake. Yes, across it, with water up to our knees for about 3/4 of a mile. Eric was our guide and it was only the 3 of us. Spent time with them afterwards and then they drove us to a special look out area on the other side of the Island that was absolutely gorgeous!.
