What better way to start your morning by visiting one of the most beautiful cathedral in the entire of Europe. Notre dam cathedral, a marvellous french gothic architecture is a must see when in Paris. Take a walk around the Cathedral and if possible walk up the 387 steps to the top. Agree the walk is exhausting, but worth the effort to have a panoramic view.

After experiencing the Notre dam, you can visit the Saint Chapelle church which is not too far from Notre dam. Most parts of the Chapel was reconstructed due to major destruction during WW II.  The upper chapel reserved for the King is beautifully adorned with ornate stained glass. This gothic architectural master piece is worth securing a position in your itinerary.

If you want to relax then visit Jardin du Luxembourg which is the most popular park in Paris.

Here is a visitor review of the park,

I always enjoy visiting the Jardin du Luxembourg on a sunny day, there is always so much to see and do. The gardens are a very enchanting place in Paris, and not to mention the effect the tranquil atmosphere of the park has on me. The layout of the magnificent gardens (filled with an abundant amount of multi-colored flowering plants), is centered around the Luxembourg Palace and dominated by an enormous octagonal pool. The statues of various past queens of France (many were erected in the 19th century during the reign of Louis-Philippe) are scattered throughout the green oasis of the park. Saint Genevieve’s (patron saint of Paris) status is not to be missed, along with Fontaine de Médicis statue (17th century fountain), and the Monument to Delacroix statue by Jules Dalou, as you are walking along the terraces that overlook the octagonal pool.
