Things to see in Plymouth with kids
One of the most impressive natural harbors in the world, the city of Plymouth is a must visit at any time of the year. The place holds great attractions that can be enjoyed in winter as well.
The rivers Tamar and Plym flank the city adding to its natural beauty.

Here is another Plymouth attraction that you are sure going to love with your children. Snowboarding is a an awesome way to enjoy the winter chill. To tell you a fact this is the largest ski slope in the Southwest of England.

You are sure going to enjoy this place with your kids and after a good round of ski you can check around. The Plymouth Ski and Snowboard Centre is in the city centre so there is a lot of activity around the place.
One that I strongly suggest is ClayArt. This is what your children are going to love. Here you can design your own clay pottery and get it glazed.
The Ski and Snowboard Centre is open the whole year round.

This is another place that I suggest is a must visit for you and you can take your kids around. Your visit to Plymouth would be incomplete without taking a walk around the Hoe. This place will give you the best view of the city.

Even in poor weather, there's a good view of the harbour entrance and out to sea.

To add to your pleasure you can try the Wheel of Plymouth. Your children are going to enjoy this panoramic view and an interesting ride.

The last of my suggestions would be Theatre Royal Plymouth. This would be a great place to spend an evening with your family.
This is one of the largest and the best attended theatres in UK. So its kind of a must visit. You can book your tickets online.
I am amazed that the Theatre is not on your upfront list. It should be. It is an outstanding example of a regional theatre in the quality of shows and the ambience of the building. I am surprised too that its restaurant - Mezze, is not on your list.

This is my first choice or I may say that this is the first choice of most of the people who visit Plymouth. Reason being that this is the biggest aquarium in the whole of United Kingdom and children just love to be close to the marine life.
The aquarium boasts of about 70 different species of sharks.

This is a very good choice considering that you have got kids along and its winter, so it would be a great indoor activity.

The National marine museum Tickets are available at different prices. For you I find it will be the best to take a family ticket that includes 2 adults and 2 children for £32.00.
