Bowery's Whitehouse of NY will be a great choice. It is a 1 star hotel and is complete value for money. Washington Square Park and New York University can be reached in around 8 to 10 minutes walk. Times Square is approximately around 15 minutes subway ride away. La Guardia (LGA) Airport is around 11 kms far from the hotel.
The hotel boasts of 81 well furnished rooms. A Double or Twin Room will be best suited for you. It is fully equipped with air conditioning, towels, linens, shared bathroom etc. Free Wifi Internet can be easily accessed from the room.

We loved it. It is near SOHO, China Town, Little Italy and more. You can get by foot everywhere! And it is really cheap. If you want to visit NYC and have not a lot of money - visit WhiteHouseHostel!

Sun Bright Hotel would be another brilliant option. It is a one star hotel and is ideally located in the center of Chinatown. Grand St. Subway Station is extremely near to the hotel. Little Italy and famous SoHo district are also in close proximity to the hotel. Through one of the subway stations, Central Park and Times Square can be accessed. La Guardia (LGA) Airport is around 12 kms far from the hotel.

that place is excellent for me because i'm a budget traveler and i don't like to stay in a room all day long in a top of it i like to eat out and i like to shop around,there have a lot of restaurant and shopping place around that hotel,perfect for me and the most importantly that hotel is close to subway so you can go anywhere you want in big apple within the minute you can't beat that,that all how simple is it.

Another good value-for-money choice would be this room in Devoe St. The room is extremely close to the L train through which you can reach the Union Square in around 10-15 minutes. Amenities include - Wireless Internet, Air Conditioning/Heating, Intercom, fully equipped kitchen etc. You would be able to access the kitchen and bathroom fully. All this you will get for just 90$ per night.

Matt's place is exactly how it's shown in the photos. He's very nice, but out of your hair the whole time. He had NYC tourism books and maps for us to use while we were there, which was great! My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while checking out the area to see if we'd want to move there. He's a five minute walk L train, just 4 stops from 1st Ave in Manhattan and 3 stops from Bedford Ave (in the heart of Williamsburg). Super convenient to JFK too, just hop on the L and transfer to the A and it takes you right there. The place was super clean and the shower was great. The bed was very comfortable and the noise level was quiet. There's a church that is a school during weekdays right nearby, but it wasn't an issue noise-wise. He's really flexible with check-in check-out, which was great because we had a late flight out, so we just left our stuff there and came back to get it after doing some stuff in Williamsburg that morning.
