Moderately priced accommodation options in Brighton

Shaiju's answer about accommodation in The Claremont, Hilton Brighton Metropole and Brighton
Accommodation

Brighton has some of the best hotels available for a comfortable stay. I have found couple of good deals that are well below your specified budget of 200GBP a day. Here are my recommendations.

Here is a guest review:

From the efficient and welcoming receptionist, the immediate and courteous rooom service, the waiting staff at both breakfast and dining room, the cleanliness of the room and the fact that the room was expertly and swiftly serviced while we were at breakfast each morning to the bar staff we were amazed by the extremely friendly staff and the fact that each one we saw appeared to want to respond to our every need. I know I appear to have shares in Hilton or am maybe someone who doesn't normally frequent good hotels but neither is true. My husband and I normally don't respond to surveys unless we have a gripe but we were both shocked at the amazing service at this hotel and felt compelled to give credit where it's most definitely due. The manager must be exceptional!

Here is a guest review:

I stayed one night at the De Vere Grand for business reasons. It was my second stay at this hotel after a company meeting about a year before. Room rate was 130 GBP including breakfast, fully flexible (there are cheaper restricted rates available). The De Vere is located at one of Brighton's prime locations, just at the sea front with a great view over the channel and the pier. Downtown Brighton can be reached within a couple of minutes walking distance. Its about a 10min drive from the station, cap was around 5 GBP, it would also be possible to walk. All in all a wonderful property I would select anytime again. The hotel is in a good condition, nicely decorated with a lot of charm and personality, good location at a wonderful value for money. Charm and personality of the property and its decoration Location Value for money Free WiFi

Firstly the cleanliness and quality of the interior decor and facilities. Plus the staff were most helpful and welcoming. Their breakfasts have won many awards and it is not difficult to see why. Superb eggs florentine in particular. The room I stayed in had a huge bed with the finest bed linen and the bathroom had a separate stand alone bath and shower. All of good quality and design. The hotel is extremely convenient for bus service into Brighton and you are well blessed with a wide variety of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. Recommend the restaurant Grace (5minute walk) for a special meal and in Brighton Havana on Dukes Street.
