Review by a guest:

Loved it...felt so special arriving there and it wasn't too crowded...it is a real privilege to visit...the fountains and exterior of this building are a pleasure to hang out in.

As I have seen Le Louvre in the early sixties well before the pyramid which dates from 1989 but also well before the huge renovation works outside and inside undergone by the Palais du Louvre I have been asked if I like the Pyramid or not.

2. Jardin des Tuileries

The Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden) may prove to be an ideal place for relaxation after a day-long visit to the city's regular attractions. This beautiful garden was designed by Le Notre and is an excellent example of a 17th century formal garden Its major highlights include long central pathway leading the eye from the Louvre architectures and fountains to the extent of the place de la Concorde.

Yahoo had this to review:

Situated right in the heart of Paris, the Jardin des Tuileries stretches from the Louvre to Place de la Concorde. Commissioned by Queen Catherine de Medicis and created in 1564 at the same time as the Palace of the same name (which was later destroyed), it was redesigned in 1664 by architect Andre le Ntre, who was responsible for the layout of its paths, its symmetrical flowerbeds and its terrace overlooking the Seine. As delightful as ever, the garden is perfect for strolling and relaxing in (there are even donkey rides!). From 21st June until 25th August every year the garden plays host to a fun fair whose big wheel gives visitors a fabulous view over Rue de Rivoli. The garden is also home to the Orangerie and the Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume.

Review by a visitor:

Someone on the forum always asks about a most romantic moment in Paris and ours was in the Tuileries on our very first trip to Paris. We started walking through the Tuileries and suddenly there was a downpour. We had no umbrellas (see the packing tip) so we raced for the little outdoor cafe with umbrella tables. Oddly, everyone else in the park raced for the exit. We found ourselves alone at the little cafe, so decided to order a coffee and hot chocolate. When we ordered, Madame Cafe Manager had nothing else to do and no other customers so she struck up a conversation. Incidentally, if you have childen, there are little sailboats for rent that they can sail in the fountain. It always looks like great fun. In the pond near the Orangerie, save a bit of lunch baguette and you can feed the fish in the pond. They are very well-trained fish!

3. Champs-Elysees

Some of the best things in life are free and Champs-Elysees is one of them. This magnificent piece of architecture is fondly known as the Heavenly Fields and it expands from the de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe, the Rond-Point being the halfway mark. One half of this promenade is flanked by chestnut trees, thereby offering you a relaxed pathway for an evening walk.

Review by a guest:

Paris is the most beautiful city in the world and the Champs-Elysees may be the most beautiful street in that city. Running from the Place de la Concorde near the Seine, to the Place Charles de Gaulle, it is filled with great shops, beautiful trees, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and you name it. You have not been to Paris unless you have walked up and down both sides of the Champs-Elysees.

Review by another guest:

The Champs-Elysees is one of Paris best-known avenues. It's 1910 meters long and runs from the Obelix to the Arc de Triomphe. In 1616 Marie de Medici decided to extend of the Tuileries Gardens to the West with an avenue. Many high class stores like Adidas, Benetton, the Disney Store, Nike, Zara, Cartier, Bel Air Fashion, Toyota, Gap, Sephora, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Lancel, Guerlain, Lacoste, H&M and Abercrombie & Fitch are located along the avenue and so are many cinema's.

Eat

With the standard of quality on offer, the Parisian culinary scenario is certainly one of the most desired destinations for the food lovers. The French cuisine is popular  for its non-vegetarian as well as vegan menu. Try to get into bit deeper and you would be quite surprised to find a number of restaurants, offering international cuisine in the run.

1. Le Grenier de Notre Dame

The Le Grenier de Notre Dame restaurant, which is set-up near the Notre Dame Cathedral is the first full-fledged vegetarian diner of Paris, which was opened in 1978. the diner instantly became hit and since then has been serving its guests to much of their delights. Go for a vegetable pie, followed by a plate of seasonal vegetables, featuring low salt and each one of the dishes featuring original flavor and then go for a dessert.

Review by a guest:

This place is right next to Notre Dame. It's a small place but I was blown away by my meal. It had tofu, seitan, and a tofu cake plus veggies and some other things. The tofu was one of the best I've had in my 8 years being vegan. That's saying a lot. It's a little pricey but well worth it. Can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my lunch.

Review by another guest:

I decided to visit Le Grenier de Notre-Dame after reading several reviews on Happy Cow, a vegetarian travel site. The reviews were mixed, so I had a back up plan. Practically next door is Cafe Panis, a sister restaurant to Chez Prosper and Lili et Marcel. I figured I could always grab a great salad at Chez Panis if Le Grenier did not pass muster. I can wait on Cafe Panis, Le Grenier was a great restaurant that served unique vegetarian food.

2. Le Bar à Huitres

The Le Bar à Huitres is another popular non-vegetarian restaurant, which is an ideal destination for a morning meal. Even the lunch and dinner are worth-trying here. It is mostly famous for its seafood. The Seaside Discoveries, is a popular dish, which includes one spider crab, 9 oysters, spanish mussels etc.

Review by a guest:

We were there on a Saturday night and it was very busy. The seafood was excellent; however the dessert was not flambeed properly so the crepes were drowning in Grand Marnier.

Review by another guest:

It may be touristy and kitchy in design, but its a great place to plop down in the afternoon with some white wine and treats from the raw bar. Service is adequate.
