Whether it's the tale on Manchester United or the glamorous wedding of Prince William, enchanting castle of the Harry Potter movie or beautiful sandy beaches; England's legacy, royal history and wonders of nature together has built an incredible persona that has made England a favourite destination of many enthusiastic travelers. Here are my picks:

1. Glasgow

Glasgow is one of the most beautiful places located in United Kingdom and it is also the biggest city in Scotland. Known for its beautiful landscapes, innumerable castles, monuments, nightlife etc. Glasgow is the third largest city in the whole of United Kingdom.

The main attractions of Glasgow include The Clyde Auditorium, Glasgow Cathedral, The Mitchell Library, Glasgow School of Art, Holmwood House, Burrell Collection, The House for an Art Lover etc.

Other attractions and offbeat attractions in Glasgow include museums and galleries viz; Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow Science Centre, Transmission Gallery, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery, McLellan Galleries, St. Mungo's Museum of Religious Life and Art, The Auchentoshan Distillery Visitor Centre, Antonine Wall etc.

No trip to Glasgow would be complete without visiting some great castles nearby ,here is a list of some which are worth a visit viz; Bothwell Castle is a large medieval castle located between Uddingston and Bothwell, about 16 km south-east of Glasgow.A great castle to get a feel of architecture of those times and an absolute must. Bar Hill Fort is a squarish fort lying close to the famous Antonine Wall which was built by the Romans,it is the highest fort of the wall and the best place to get the true feel of the wall. Crookston Castle is an unusual 15th century castle with 12th century earthwork which should not be missed. It offers excellent views of South West Glasgow and is located approx  8 km south-west of the city centre. Dumbarton Castle was the heart of the ancient kingdom of Strathclyde from the 5th century until 1018.It is situated on a volcanic rock with great views of  the Firth of Clyde and was an important royal refuge etc.

There are many theaters that play musicals and comedies, there are many restaurants and shopping places where you can have some good time. Moreover the nightlife of Glasgow is as vibrant as the city and therefore you can go to some of the best pubs and nightclubs in the city. On the whole it is a fun trip to be while you are in Glasgow.

Cardiff is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Wales, United Kingdom. Summer is the time when a horde of tourist come over to Cardiff to enjoy their holidays. Earlier known as an industrial hub, Cardiff has transformed itself in such a way that it has become one of the most preferred tourist destinations in the world.

Popular and offbeat attractions in Cardiff includes Cardiff Castle, The Millennium Stadium, The Wales Millennium Centre, The National Assembly for Wales or the Senedd, The Norwegian Church, Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre, Llandaff Cathedral, Castell Coch, City Hall, Civic Centre, Bute Park, Pierhead Building, Caerau Castle Ringwork, Beaupre Castle, Cosmeston Medieval Village, Penmark Castle etc.

Other attractions include St Fagans National History Museum, National Museum of Wales, The Cardiff Museum, Techniquest etc. You can undertake some activities like going for a cruise or go to a theater and watch a good play or a movie or go to some nice nightclub and chillout.

York is a historic city that is famous for its cathedrals that date back to Roman times and it is located in Yorkshire and has some of the best preserved historical buildings and structures in the whole of England.
