The Aquarium, going by the reviews of the vacationers, is something which must not be missed. It is situated in a scenic location and the tunnel takes you to the marine world. The splendid collection of species here will impress you. The close proximity to viewing and the large collection of exhibits are the bonuses.

Went to San Sebastian for the day and came across an aquarium. Decided to go in and it started off by them telling you to go to the 2nd floor which gave history of the spanish fishermen and boats and then you go down the stairs to the aquarium which had a lot of species of fish. Well worth it. Got some nice pictures and was good to go if you want to take a break from eating tapas and walking the narrow streets.

Playa de la Concha is one beach which is believed to be one of the best in the world. Everything about the beach is perfect, from the casual rejuvenating walk to the sun and the view. The surrounding hilly terrains just add on to the beauty quotient. A relaxing day, or getting in the bathing suit and trunks, this place will not disappoint you.

This beach is just PHENOMENAL! Located in the Basque Country, the Playa de la Concha is the most beautiful beach in all of Northern Spain and most of the country. The first characteristic of this beach which is located in the center of Donostia (San Sebastian, Donostia means, ie the name of San Sebastian in Basque). So when there is sun, you can swim and then sit on a terrace for a drink with friends. Many tourists often go to San Sebastian for a weekend to enjoy the sun et the special atmosphere of this amazing city
Peine de los Vientos, at the very first sight comes across as a very peculiar little structure, but when you look closely, the grandeur of this piece sinks in, and you appreciate the stunning iron sculpture embedded in the rocks, right on the water edge with the complementing waves splashing. Its a fine work of modern by Eduardo Chillida. Very rare and highly recommended.

Perhaps the most breathtaking sight in San Sebastian (and there are many!) are the Peine de los Vientos (wind comb) sculptures. These large sculptures are embedded in the rocks along the coast at the base of Monte Igueldo. On a nice day, you can hang around the rocks near these sculptures, have a picnic, or just cuddle with your loved one (as many were doing when I was there.) To get there from the old town, walk along la Concha to the other end, past the Tennis Club (where you can pop into the Irish pub for a hefty-priced beer should it begin to rain.) And don't forget to snap a few pictures of the sculptures!
